Summary of Insurance Covers

This Insurance Scheme is underwritten by ETI - International Travel Protection, the UK branch of Europäische Reiseversicherung A.G.

This summary is a brief resume of the cover provided under the Scheme and full description is incorporated in the Policy document which we can provide you on request but you will of course receive the document at inception of the Insurance. We always advise the clients to carefully read the Policy to ensure that the Policyholder is fully aware of the covers and revert to us if there are issues which need explanation or amendments. 

Brief description of the covers is as follows:

1. Public Liability Section

This provides cover for claims arising from death injury or damage to property of any third
party including travellers. These may be brought against you under common law, statute or
the 1992 Package Travel Regulations.

The policy also provides the following extensions of cover:

• Compensation for Court attendance
• Liability arising under the Data Protection Act
• Emergency Assistance to any Customer or Traveller
• Liability under the French Civil Code
• Liability under the Consumer Protection Act
• Health and Safety at Work Act

2. Professional Indemnity Section

This provides liability for financial claims brought against you arising from incidents not occasioning bodily injury or property damage. These can arise from negligent acts, errors or omissions and the cover extends to include:

• Libel, Slander or Defamation
• Accidental Loss or Damage to Documents in your custody or control

3. Legal Expenses Section

This Insurance Scheme is underwritten by DAS Legal Expenses Insurance Company Limited.

This provides cover for legal expenses arising from:

• Employment Disputes
• Legal Defence
• Contract Disputes
• Debt Recovery
• Property Protection
• Tax Protection / Investigation and VAT Disputes
• Statutory Licence Protection

4. Employers Liability Section

This Insurance Scheme is underwritten by Allianz Insurance plc.

Providing cover for claims arising under the 1969 Compulsory Insurance Act for injury to employees during the course of their employment.

All above policies are arranged through Tour Indemnity

ALL THE ABOVE SECTIONS WILL PROVIDE INSURANCES IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LIMITS OF LIABILITY AND EXCESSES STATED IN THE QUOTATION AND SCHEDULE OF THE POLICY.

Furthermore the policy will be subject to certain exclusions and details of these can be provided on request but the full cover will of course be incorporated in the Policy document. A copy of the document can be issued on request. The signed document will be issued on completion of the insurance.
